C++: Basic Concepts (Part I) - Julian Bigge
It's not that hard to write safe, fast and well-designed applications using C++ as most people think. This talk aims at providing knowledge about best practices when writing C++ code.
In this first episode, after a recap of basic language concepts such as declarations & definitions, value-categories and reference-types, we will have a look at initialisation mechanics (yes, there are several), class hierarchies and virtual functions.
